    ...
Please limit conversation in this space out of respect for students studying quietly. Collaborative work and conversations should take in other spaces designed for that purpose (i.e. the “Blue Room” lounge in ED 3143 or Ada’s Lounge in ED 1211).
    Bookshelf
We have a new bookshelf (thank you Dean Morrison!) with books donated by our fabulous staff and faculty. PleasePlease make sure
    Lockers
There are lockers available in the quiet study room and Ada's lab on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a locker, contact Amy Meredith (or Christina Baker) to fill out the Locker Agreement Form (Room 4111). There is a $10 refundable deposit (paid in cash or check) required for reserving a locker.
    TA Room
ED 3109 has been designated as the TA room. All TA's are welcome to hold office hours in this room. There will be a sign up sheet in the room for you to secure a time for your office hours.
Many thanks are in order for the procurement of the Quiet Study Room and lockers. Thank you to the members of the 2010-11 GSAE Board and Representatives, as well as the Department of Education, Education Chair & Professor Betsy Brenner, and Assistant Dean Arlis Markel. And thank you to all who played a role in supporting the development of this resource.

    GGSE ITG Representatives
The GGSE ITG representative attends the quarterly ITG meetings and votes on important technology issues (i.e., how to spend the Tech Fee). The representative bridges the communication between the ITG staff and GGSE students. We would like to have a student representative from Education, CCSP, and TEP.

    Diversity/Equity Committee for GGSE (1)
The GGSE website describes this committee as follows, "Given the current economic climate in the university and constraints on the budget, the committee is currently focusing its efforts on fostering an energetic multicultural community that enriches understanding of diverse perspectives, enhances effectiveness in the classroom and the community, increases the success of recruitment and retention goals, and achieves these aims through systemic change.”
