The GSAE is looking for student representatives for the 2015-2016 school year. Representatives attend committee meetings and report back to the GSAE during our monthly open meetings. Being a representative is a great way to get to know other students, staff, and faculty on campus and to add to your resume/CV. Here are the open positions:

GGSE ITG Representatives

The GGSE ITG representative attends the quarterly ITG meetings and votes on important technology issues (i.e., how to spend the Tech Fee). The representative bridges the communication between the ITG staff and GGSE students. We would like to have a student representative from Education, CCSP, and TEP.

The GSA executive team works to: (1) ensure that graduate student concerns are addressed in campus and off-campus policy decisions, (2) provide graduate students with information concerning decisions that are relevant to student life and (3) provide social activities for UCSB graduate students.

The GSA representative will serve as a voting member of the GSA General Council. The representative must attend 2 of the 3 monthly GSA General Council meetings every quarter. Meetings last about two hours. Dinner is provided at the meetings.
