Bio: Hello! I am a teacher educator at Antioch University and a former bilingual credentialed (BCLAD) 12th grade English teacher. My undergraduate degree is in English Literature and Language, and I have a Masters of Science degree in Education, specializing in Reading and Writing Instruction. My second year project explores thoughtful and creative ways teachers and researchers can form meaningful collaborations that support the academic language development of ELLs in an urban high school setting. I would like to expand this project further for my dissertation and help SDAIE teachers in my school site develop their own instructional resources to challenge and help their students.
What I hope to accomplish as the GSAE VP Communications: As chief information officer of the GSAE, my job is to provide you with the most current information about graduate student life by updating the official GSAE Website, online calendar, “Latest News” blog, and other electronic communications channels. Furthermore, I intend to play a helpful and supportive role in the council by assisting the President and VP of Budget and Records in maintaining the public file. I endeavor to do my job well and to serve all GGSE students to the best of my ability.
