One of the top priorities GGSE students selected in the Fall Quarter Interest survey was academic writing workshops, specifically those focused on writing grants and conference proposals. The GSAE hopes to meet that need by hosting a series of writing workshops during the current academic year.

Writing Grant Proposals: Part I How to Find and Prepare for Research Funding: Introduction to proposals and why write them, the different funding mechanisms, planning for adequate support, identifying appropriate funders, locating and using institutional resources, estimating costs, speaking to program directors, and making contact with the submitting organization.
